My 3 words for 2018: Health is Wealth.
I’ve been very busy in 2017, juggling many hats that I often took my health for granted. Missing sleep, skipping meals just to meet deadlines and baking orders. Yes, I was able earn money but I noticed that I was also out sick a couple of times last year.
Hello, I’m not getting any younger. My body now ache just by doing usual chores in the house, haha signs of aging! But kidding aside, for 2018 I vow to make my (and my family’s) health topmost priority.
Slowly but surely, I’m changing my eating and sleeping habits. I lessening my sugar intake and adding vegetables and fruits to my daily diet. I’m also rediscovering my love for milk. Because of my erratic work schedule, I’ve been overly dependent on coffee. But I’m well too aware of the risk of osteoporosis, particularly women my age so I’m milk it is!
I’ve recently been introduced to Athena — the milk especially designed to meet women’s special nutritional needs. It’s high in Calcium which is vital for optimum bone health. It’s also a good source of Vitamin D and K, Magnesium and Phosphorus, nutrients that helps in maintaining strong bone.
It also doesn’t hurt that Athena is low in fat (for our balik alindog programs!). Lastly, it’s a good source of anti-oxidants such as Vitamins A & E and Zinc to help maintain healthy skin and promote optimum immune function.
Truly, Athena is delicious beverage made just for us women.
Athena comes in two flavors – Milk (180 grams – Php 130.00; 400 grams –Php 273.00) and Choco (180 grams – Php 130.00). It’s available online atwww.athena.com.ph and in-store at Mercury Drugstore, Watsons, and Southstar.
